About Wolfic

  • Wolfic is a truly rare Salesforce Consulting Partner because we do not operate in a way that maximizes growth or profits internally. We can afford to do this because we are privately owned and have never taken on outside investors.

    Internally we are optimizing, not seeking headcount growth. Client success is our success.

    The results speak for themselves: we have never lost an existing client to a competitor, and most of our clients found us after experiencing previous partner issues.

  • We support organizations across the world from our headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

    100% of our team is onshore in the US. The Pacific Northwest is our home turf, especially the I-5 corridor between San Francisco and Seattle. We also have clients in all US time zones and never hesitate to hop on a plane to build relationships in person.

    If you’re local to the Portland Metro, we’re happy to come onsite! If you’re in another part of the country, it depends on where exactly you are relative to where the folks working on your project are.

    Either way, Salesforce work lends itself extremely well to remote meetings.

  • We typically serve clients who already have a Salesforce org and are looking to optimize it. We specialize in orgs under 200 users.

    We continue to support existing clients who grow above 200 users, but we typically do not take on new clients who are already above 200.

  • Our main industries of expertise are financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, nonprofit, professional services, and tech/SaaS.

    We are also experts at translating any business requirement into Salesforce solutions, even if we haven’t worked directly with an organization like yours.

  • We have a stable core team of 6 and there are 40 Subject Matter Experts in our Wolfpack.

    This structure lets us quickly mobilize additional talent for projects as needed while minimizing overhead so we can continue to provide best in class value.

  • We operate more like a professional sports team than a family. All of our team members are put through the same 3-stage vetting process.

    First, the soft skills assessment gauges communication style and ability to be a client-facing consultant. Second, the hard skills assessment verifies knowledge of the Salesforce platform. Finally, client references are conducted on each candidate as an extra verification of work quality.

  • We specialize 100% in Salesforce-related services. Usually we are optimizing existing orgs, but occasionally we implement a new one from scratch.

    Unlike many other Salesforce Consulting Partners, we do not also try to provide services for competing CRMs such as Hubspot. This lets us stay laser focused on Salesforce and continue to outcompete.

  • Our clients need to customize their Salesforce orgs for their unique organization needs, which can lead to many problems over time if not done correctly from the start.

    Common problems include: low overall return on investment, missing integrations, misaligned processes, lack of automation, frustrated users, overburdened admins, exaggerated or unneeded software, dirty data, broken dashboards, unnecessary manual work, and security vulnerabilities.

  • We specialize in Salesforce platform technologies. That includes all Salesforce Clouds, add-on products, and related AppExchange apps.

    We are happy to help you optimize your third-party software if you are interested in integrating that software with Salesforce. This can be as complex as a Mulesoft implementation or as simple as a Zapier connection.

  • Our Wolfpack holds certifications across all major Salesforce Clouds. We also are familiar with most major AppExchange apps for Salesforce.

    If you have a truly unusual request, we are able to quickly bring in Subject Matter Experts as needed.

  • Our Wolfpack holds certifications across all major Salesforce Clouds. The main Clouds we service are Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, Data, and Industries.

    All team members are required to perform regular certification maintenance as part of Salesforce’s standard certification process.

  • Yes, we have built strong partnerships with many of the leading Salesforce AppExchange vendors. This enables us to pass along partner discounts and priority partner support to our clients.

  • No, Wolfic is not a software vendor. We simply help you implement and optimize Salesforce-related software.

    We can help you in the procurement process if you’d like.

 

Engagement Process

  • Our unique Success Roadmap simplifies and streamlines collaboration, providing a single source of truth for everyone involved.

    There are three steps to creating the Success Roadmap: Current State Review, Future State Blueprint, and Prioritization & Phasing.

    At the end of the process, you’ll know exactly what needs to be done to accomplish your goals, and how challenging each one is.

  • We can usually kick off small and medium sized projects within one week of receiving a signature. Larger projects kick off within one week of receiving the initial payment.

  • Not with our Flex Plan! You can engage us for even the smallest of tasks and quickly scale up or down as needed.

    Simply pay for any hours billed on the project at the end of the month, and stop the work any time. We bill down to the 15-minute increment.

  • Once we have your Success Roadmap created with all of your requirements, we will know the total hours range. We can then use this to recommend a weekly hours cadence that will deliver your project by your deadline.

  • We recommend weekly placeholder meetings with your key stakeholders.

    We can always skip a placeholder when it’s not needed and provide an emailed progress summary update instead.

  • You will be assigned one Lead Consultant who will serve as the single point of contact for your entire project.

    By focusing on hiring top 10% talent and retaining them for the long term, we make it easy for you to build a strong relationship of trust with your Lead Consultant.

  • Rescue projects are one of our main specialties. We go the extra mile to quickly find out what went wrong, fix it, and proactively take action to make up lost time.

    It’s a frustratingly common situation to be in, and we are here to help.

  • You will have full access to the Success Roadmap at all times. This provides a detailed breakdown of tasks, hours estimates, and current statuses.

  • Project reporting depends on your project structure. We provide Hours Reports with detailed breakdowns at regular intervals.

    We use Salesforce internally, so the Hours Reports you receive are exported Salesforce Reports which guarantees accuracy.

  • Yes, we are very flexible during project delivery. Any changes can usually be made together to the Success Roadmap during recurring meetings.

    This makes it easy to forecast the impact on timeline and budget, and adjust accordingly. Larger changes can be handled using a new Order Form if needed.

  • We can teach you how to fish, do all the fishing for you, or take a hybrid approach. It’s completely up to you. We’ll always be standing by if you need any support.

  • Yes, we will document new processes as we go unless clients ask us not to. This usually takes the form of simple word documents, but they can be supplemented with walkthrough videos and slide decks if needed.

    We can also connect you directly with past or current clients on a case-by-case basis.

 

Pricing & Estimates

    This can give your organization peace of mind knowing that you are getting the best possible value.

  • We offer a competitive standard hourly rate, plus bulk discount pricing. The larger your project, the lower the hourly rate. 

    There are 3 project structures to choose from: Flex, Hour Block, and Monthly Retainer. 

    Nonprofit organizations also receive a special additional discount.

  • We provide detailed hours estimates for each task that needs to be completed to deliver your project. You can take this estimate and multiply it by your hourly rate to get the cost of any particular line item.

  • Yes, ballpark estimates are free. Contact us to get started. 

    If you would like a more detailed estimate, we just need to have a conversation with you to clarify your requirements. Then we will create or update your Success Roadmap and use it to provide a detailed breakdown of the cost and timeline.

  • All requirements are transparently managed in the Success Roadmap throughout the course of the project. We will work on a cadence that takes your total Hour Block or Retainer size and paces it out to deliver consistent progress and hit your target go-live date. If you need us to front-load hours, that is often possible. We are very flexible. 

    There are no hidden costs, just one flat hourly rate no matter who on our team works on your project.

 

Security & Compliance

  • Whenever possible, we build client solutions that are 100% native to the Salesforce platform. This leverages the world class enterprise security compliance of Salesforce itself. Learn more at compliance.salesforce.com.

    If you wish to share information with us, we ask that you store it within your organization’s data storage systems and share it from there. 

    Wolfic uses Salesforce internally and has its own rigorous internal data security policies, but we usually do not house customer data and assets directly.

  • Salesforce by its very nature is inherently scalable. If there are cheaper, less scalable ways to meet your requirement, we will provide you with clear options and a personalized recommendation.

    This empowers you to make the choice that works best for you in the present, while knowing your future upgrade options.

  • We have a standard Mutual NDA but are happy to use your template if our legal team approves it.
